Groom epitomises the quintessential and modern British gentleman, offering a bespoke suiting experience without the price tag to match. Established in the early 1990’s our family – run business has developed a reputation for personal service and high – quality tailoring at an affordable price.
Your dream suit is a special purchase, the perfect garment needs to be well – made and look custom tailored. Without a doubt it should be as special as the event it’s destined to be worn at. We pride ourselves on making the experience of finding it as enjoyable as possible.
Since the opening of our first store in Warrington our vision has revolved around ensuring that the wedding and event suit hiring & buying process is stress free and made easy with our experienced helping hand, advise and guidance. 2023 saw us celebrate 30 years in retailing and hiring suits for all occasions. Groom rapidly grew to meet customer demand, we now operate from three stores, spanning: Chester, Warrington and Liverpool. Together with a state of the art warehouse carrying wide ranges of specially sourced stock from well chosen suppliers guaranteed to meet all needs and styles. Although we are based in the North West of England, we supply suits both nationwide and abroad – specialising in destination weddings.
Exceptional and personalised customer service is at the heart of what we do. We ensure that each customer gets time with one of our experienced sales co-ordinators to discuss their requirements & visions. Both parties then work together to ensure the right look for the wedding or event. Along with customer relations, Groom has a strong relationship with suppliers meaning the finest cloth is sourced and meticulously crafted to ensure the utmost precision for those all important fabrics.
How we work
With 30 years in the industry our knowledge and experience of putting together the perfect look is second to none. We advise that the couple join us as early as possible for an initial appointment. This appointment is designed for the groom to peruse our full suit range and to discuss the theme and style of the event until the ideal look is finalised. Once the groom has chosen their suit we fit it in store, allowing for any further alterations to be made. We then discuss, the needs of the groomsmen and help to coordinate suits for the entire party, this is often a mixture of hire and buy deals.
