Weddings During A Pandemic…

2020 hit us all by a storm with a virus that caused a global pandemic. What did this mean for weddings? Well, Borris can’t quite make his mind up about that either. However, it does currently stand that weddings of 30 people have had the go-ahead!

For social butterflies, this is horrific news, for more reclusive couples this is great news. The great thing about the 30 people limit means you will be marrying your partner in front of the 30 people you care most about in the world. Although I wouldn’t want to be the one sending out the ‘sorry you didn’t make the cut un-invitations’. Keeping in mind this does mean that the wedding can be dragged out until next year, when big parties get the go-ahead again.

I heard on the grapevine that music is not permitted/ not suggested at the reception. So therefore I have a solution… SILENT DISCO.

This means if your guest’s music tastes vary from hardcore metal to old school RnB, there will be no moaner in the corner or the drunken aunt screaming down the DJ’s ear for john legend. Or…

Brides will be extremely happy to hear the news that the beauty community is FINALLY back up and running. We wouldn’t want any brides forgetting to blend there contour from there makeshift youtube makeup tutorial.

In all seriousness, there is nothing better than getting your makeup and hair done, especially on the day where the photos will follow you for the rest of your life. So, thanks to Bojo for giving the beauty community the reins back.

According to guidelines floors should be marked with tape or paint to help people maintain social distancing. Now, this could actually be a blessing in disguise to keep any current family wars from erupting on your special day. “We will just have the party in the local pub” is the famous words of any couple in recent weeks, and i totally agree. Get all the tables in the local pub fully booked up and therefore increase your guest count! There are always ways to turn things around.

Good luck to everyone getting married this year & I hope you enjoyed reading today’s humourous blog based on a darkened situation. We look forward to hearing from all you grooms needing an outfit for your special day!
